<p>Reliable starting of air breathing turbines even at high altitude is assured in a turbine engine wherein the annular combustor includes main fuel injectors (46) and one or more start injectors (96). The start injectors (96) are located away from the bottom of the combustor such that the bottom of the combustor is free of start injectors.
