<p>The invention relates to novel expression vectors which are formed from a derivative of plasmid pERVI/23 in such a way, that after the promoter, operator, ribosomal binding site, and translation start codon regions of the plasmid - before the gene to be expressed - a sequence coding for a 15-20 amino acids of β-galactosidase, the repetition of the operator sequence or any part thereof, a further ribosomal binding site, a translation start codon, a sequence coding for a homopolymer of 5-10 amino acids, a further ATG codon are contained therein. It is another object of the present invention to provide a method for the construction of the above expression vectors. The novel expression vectors according to the present invention provide protein production with a high efficiency and, at the same time, are reliably regulatable, and in case of any gene to be expressed provide suitable mRNA and protein level stability.</p> |
