PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material superior in sensitivity, graininess, and sensitization development performance by specifying the silver halide grains of a silver halide emulsion. CONSTITUTION:At least one of emulsion layers contains >=2 kinds of silver halide emulsions having a ratio of each average particle diameter ratio of 1.1-1.6 and these emulsions are chemically sensitized so as to have at least one of maximum values of the latent image distribution of silver halide grains of each emulsion in the inside of the grain in the depth of <=0.01mum from the surface of the grain, thus permitting the obtained silver halide photographic sensitive material to be superior in sensitivity and graininess, and small in change of gradation, and superior also in sensitization development performance even if the development time is extended. |
