<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the sorting of copying sheets by selectably providing, as a paper discharge mode, a shift mode for discharging sheets into bins on ascent and descent, after shifting the sheets in a direction different from a normal paper discharge direction for copying sheets. CONSTITUTION:For example, during copy interruption mode, a shift mode is automatically selected so as to energize a solenoid 55, and accordingly, paper discharge rollers 41a through 41c are set by means of an actuating lever 50 in a direction (b) deflecting from a normal paper discharge direction by an angle theta so as to discharge sheets in a direction which is different from a direction in which copying sheets discharged into and stacked in bins were discharged, thereby the sheets are stacked being positionally shifted. Further, in the case of copying with the use of a plurality of bins, the paper discharge mode is changed depending upon whether it is an odd bin or an even bin. That is, for example, for an odd bin, a nonshift mode is automatically selected while for an even bin, a shift mode is automatically selected. Accordingly, it is possible to sort copying sheets even though copying sheets are extracted simultaneously from several bins. Thereby, it is possible to facilitate the sorting of copying sheets.</p> |
