The present invention provides a method and apparatus to protect valuables from heat and water damage in case of fire. The apparatus comprises a housing to be mounted generally above the valuables, and at least one sheet which is normally stored in the housing and which is released by a predetermined signal to the releasable retaining means whereby the sheet(s) fold to provide a protective curtain between the fire and the valuable. |
