The invention relates to a liquid-manure channel 1, in a pigsty, which is located on a level beneath the sty floor 2 and exhibits two walls 4, 5 and a masonrywork or concrete floor, floating in the longitudinal direction of the liquid-manure channel 1, and is covered towards the top by a slatted floor 8, 9 mounted on the upper edges 6, 7 of the walls 4, 5, a lining 11, 12, 13 which is resistant to liquid manure being fitted in the liquid-manure channel 1. In the case of said liquid-manure channel, the invention provides that the lining 11, 12, 13 comprises portions 11, 12, 13 which are adapted to the profile of the liquid-manure channel 1, overlap one another and consist of galvanised black plate, that the portions 11, 12, 13 exhibit, for mounting them on the upper edges 6, 7 of the walls 4, 5, bent side parts 18, 19, 29, 30 on which there are provided angled-off parts 20, 23 which are let into slots 21, 25, provided on the upper edges 6, 7 of the walls 4, 5, and are jointed in a permanently elastic manner, and that the portions 11, 12, 13 are coated, on their entire inner surface, with a glass-fibre-reinforced polyester resin which is resistant to liquid manure, and the joints 26 of adjacent portions 11, 12 are sealed with a glass-reinforced polyester resin which is resistant to liquid manure. <IMAGE>
