摘要 PURPOSE:To suppress melt loss of refractory material, enlarge coefficient of thermal expansion and coefficient of residual linear expansion and suppress joint-opening by blending a specific silica or silica.alumina based raw material with alumina based raw material, carbon material or carbon material, SiC and resin based binder. CONSTITUTION:(A) 20-80wt.% silica or silica.alumina based raw material (e.g., agalmatolite) containing >=80wt.% particle having >=60mum particle size, having high thermal expansion (>=1.5% at 1000 deg.C) and >=2wt.% coefficient of residual linear expansion after heat treatment at 1400 deg.C is blended with (B) 20-77wt.% alumina based raw material (e.g., bauxite) having >=50wt.% Al2O3 content, (C) 3-30wt.% carbon material (e.g., graphite) or carbon material and SiC and (D) 1.5-10wt.% organic based binder (e.g., phenol resin).
