PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a formed flange by holding a parison by pinching a specified part of the parison with a slide member incorporated in a mold when the parison is taken in the mold, retreating said slide member in mold members from a molding space and feeding a compressed air in the parison. CONSTITUTION:A parison 2 is extruded between a pair of split molds 1 and 1' while they are opened. In a process where the split molds 1 and 1' is closed and the parison 2 is taken in a molding space 3, apexes of slide members 4 and 4' pinch and hold a part of the side of the parison. Then, the slide members 4 and 4' are retreated in mold members while the parison is held. At this instance, a part which is to become to a flange is formed by pulling a part of the parison. Then, a compressed air is fed in the parison 2 to perform blow molding of a molded item 5 along the wall face of the molding space 5. It is thereby possible to mold monolithically a flange 6 having high reliability on the necessary part. |
