A medication dispenser comprises a connector member which is removably connectable to the dispenser, a guard sheath for an hypodermic injection needle to be moved manually from the first position where the needle tip is to be exposed to the second position where the needle tip is to be covered, and locking elements for permanently locking the guard sheath as the sheath is manually moved from the first position to the second position. The needle is clamped to the connector member at its rear end.
