发明名称 RADIATION DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a view-through image having an area of a desired size with an ease construction while gaining a high radiation trapping efficiency by making an incident area of an incident radiation larger than a light admission area receiving light from another direction. CONSTITUTION:A taper fiber 3a of a radiation detector is built tight on one light receiving area 5E and so formed into a truncated cone with a diameter thereof on the side of being built tight on the light receiving area 5E smaller as compared with that on the incident side of another radiation and a light reflection layer is formed on an incident side end face of the radiation. Hence, radiation incident from the incident side end face of a taper fiber scintillator section 3 generates fluorescence within a core section 3b corresponding to a dose and the fluorescence travels being reflected on an interface between the core section 3c and a clad section 3c and on a reflecting surface of the reflection layer to be incident into the light receiving area 5E as quantity of light corresponding to the dose. Thus, a view-through image of a desired size is obtained easily with a desired high radiation trapping efficiency.
