<p>PURPOSE:To improve reliability for data read by keeping the travel speed of a magnetic card almost constant by providing a blade connected directly to a driving roller and rotated by friction between the driving roller and the magnetic card, and a vessel in which liquid stirred by the blade is contained. CONSTITUTION:The driving roller 3 and a pressure roller 4 provided at the entry of a magnetic card travel groove 5, the blade 10 connected directly to the driving roller 3, and the vessel 8 in which the liquid 9 stirred by the blade 10 is contained are provided. And a mechanical load is applied on the travel of the magnetic card by viscous resistance by stirring the liquid 9 by the blade 10 being rotated by the friction generated between the magnetic card 6 and the driving roller 3. Since the mechanical load is increased corresponding to the travel speed of the magnetic card, the travel speed of the magnetic card can be kept almost constant, then, the reliability for the data read can be improved.</p> |
