PURPOSE:To enable the random selection by providing the first and the second control parts for controlling the change gear ratio so as to be the number of automatic operation target engine speed corresponding to a throttle opening degree and the number of manual operation target engine speed by the target ratio signal and the speed. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 100 has the first and the second control parts 101, 111 and when the first control part 101 is selected by a switching means 121, the control unit 100 finds the number of automatic operation target engine speed corre sponding to the accelerator (throttle) opening degree, and controls the variable speed ratio of a continuously variable transmission through a switching valve 51 so that the deviation of the found number of the automatic operation target engine speed from the number of the real engine speed detected by a sensor 70 become 0. On the other hand, when the second control part 111 is selected, the control unit 100 finds the number of manual operation target engine speed with the preset target ratio signal from a presetting means and the speed signal from a sensor 71, and controls the change gear ratio so that the deviation of the found number of the automatic operation target engine speed from the number of the real engine speed become 0. A driver can thus select the automatic variable speed operation or the manual variable speed operation in random with his/her own dicision. |
