PURPOSE:To permit the restraining of temperature separation upon accumulating heat by a method wherein an upper tank is communicated with a lower tank through a plurality of pipes passing through an intermediate tank, brine, circulating through a load, is accumulated in the upper and the lower tanks, and the brine, circulating through a heat source, is accumulated in the intermediate tank while the brine in the upper tank is circulated forcibly into the lower tank while bypassing the intermediate tank. CONSTITUTION:When a pump 9 is driven, brine, returned to a returning port 24, flows through an upper tank 11, pipes 14, 15, 16 and a lower tank 13 as shown by a dotted line in the diagram and, thereafter, is discharged out of a discharging port 25. The brine, circulating through a heat source machine, flows from an inlet port 26 through an intermediate tank 12 as shown by a solid line in the diagram and is discharged out of an outlet port 27 after effecting heat exchange between the brine in the pipes 14-16. When the pump 10 is driven, the brine is circulated from the upper tank 11 to the lower tank 13 and the temperature distribution of the brine may be uniformized. When the low-temperature brine is supplied to the inlet port 26, ice blocks 28, 29, 30 are adhered to the pipes 14-16 and the pipes 14-16 come off into the lower tank 13 by the suction force of the pump 9 some times, however, vacuum may be reduced by the driving of the pump 10 and said coming off may be restrained. |
