PURPOSE:To heighten a shield effect by comprising a magnetic shield plate arranged between a first magnetic head body and a second magnetic head body of a superconducting material, and improving a Meissner effect. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic shield plate 18 is interposed between a recording head body 2 and a reproducing head body 3. The magnetic shield plate 18 is constituted of the superconducting material, and also, it is formed in one body i.e. one sheet shape. Also, the magnetic shield plate 18 and fixed frames 10 and 17 at both sides of the plate are fixed mutually with epoxy resin. In such a way, leakage magnetic flux from magnetic gaps 8 and 15 can be surely repulsed and shielded by the Meissner effect generated in the magnetic shield plate 18. |
