<p>PURPOSE:To secure such a pumping device that possesses potential energy of more than pumping energy by installing a liquid part and a decompressed gas part in a tank, also installing the other end of a downcomer, whose one end is reached to this liquid part from the gas part, extendedly in a level less than a tank level, and feeding the tank with the liquid intermittently with a lift pump from a storage tank having its level in the atmosphere of less than an extended drain hole. CONSTITUTION:When water in a downcomer 5 is exhausted by a water turbine 7, a gas part in a tank 1 comes down to less than the atmosphere. Next, when a valve 10' is opened and a lift pump 10 is started, at an intermittent water supply time zone, water in a storage tank 8 is drawn in by suction and fed to a tank 1 by low pressure in the gas part 3 of this tank 1 and the pump 10, whereby water in this tank 1 is increased. At a downtime zone of the pump 10, water in a lift pipe 11 is checked of its down by the pump 10, and since a sectional area of this lift pipe 11 is very small as compared with an area of a level 4 in the tank, suction force of the gas part 3 is large enough, whereby the water in the lift pipe 11 is small of its down and drawn in the tank by suction. Then, at the time of water supply starting of the pump 10, water is fed into the tank with force of more than lifting power of the pump 10 by large suction force.</p> |
