<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a light recording and reproducing device at a low cost by constituting a cylinder part, which loads a revolving head, of three cylinders, whose revolving centers are coincident. CONSTITUTION:At the time of tape loading, since a first cylinder 4 is held by a first control member 8, second and third cylinders 3 and 2 are turned together and drive a tape guide 41. Then, a tape is wound to the cylinders 3 and 2. When mode operation is executed, only the third cylinder 2 is turned and a mechanism member, which is engaged with this cylinder, is operated. When recording and reproducing is executed, the first cylinder can be revolved by the operation of the first control means 8 and the cylinder is revolved by a motor 40. At such a time, the second cylinder 3 is locked by a second control means 17 and the third cylinder 2 is not turned since it is engaged with the mechanism member. Then, malfunction is not generated. Thus, the drive and mode operation of a revolving cylinder, which loads a magnetic head, can be executed by one cylinder motor and the device goes to be compact and light.</p> |
