<p>A coffee maker, of the type in which water from a fresh water container is heated and delivered to a filter vessel from which it passes through a filter paper to the coffee receptacle, has the fresh water container arranged above and sealed to the filter vessel, a heating element being arranged in the fresh water container. A moveable closure in the bottom of the fresh water container allows heated water from the latter to flow rapidly into the filter vessel, so that the container and vessel are effectively connected together and the water therein is kept hot by the heating element during brewing.</p> |
