PURPOSE:To obtain the title feed capable of efficiently breeding benthonic organisms by incorporating a formula feed with green dust. CONSTITUTION:The objective feed containing green dust as one of feed constituents. This feed is suitable for breeding benthonic organisms consuming seaweed such as ear-shell, tokobushi abalone, top shell and sea urchin. The green dust to be used as a constituent may be in any state, other than being in raw state, such as being freeze-treated, heat-and-dry-treated or lyophilized state; however, in view of preservability of raw material and easiness in handling, it is preferable for the green dust to be other than in a raw state. The amount of this green dust to be incorporated is, in general, 5 - 90wt.%, on a dry basis of the total feed. For the preparation of the objective feed, such ingredients, other than the green dust, as fish meal, defatted soybeans, vegetable oil refuse, seaweed powder, grain powder and/or a binder may, if needed, be formulated. |
