PURPOSE:To obtain the title confectionery containing abundant edible fiber, thus useful for health promotion by subjecting a formed product of rootcrops and fruit vegetables to a roller-type assembled cutter and punching the resulting product obtained through pressure contact. CONSTITUTION:Rootcrops and fruit vegetables such as sweet potatoes, potatoes, carrots, Japanese radishes or eggplants are cut into pieces of appropriate shape as needed to make formed products 1; which are then subjected to a roller-type assembled cutter 2a to produce formed products 4 through pressure contact. Thence, the products 4 are punched into punched products 11, and the resultant holes 11a of said products 11 are filled with various kinds of nutrients or confectionery, thus obtaining the objective confectionery. When this confectionery is taken, the edible fiber contained acts within the body, effecting stimulation of gastrointestinal action, therefore being useful for health promotion. |
