PURPOSE:To prevent image quality deterioration by adjusting the image quality based on the output of a temperature detecting means which detects the ambient temperature of an image making mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with the temperature detecting means (temperature senser) 32 which detects the ambient temperature of the image making mechanism, and a toner concentration detecting means (toner concentration senser) 33 which detects the concentration of the toner for development. The first image quality adjustment is carried out based on the output of the temperature senser 32, and the output of the toner concentration senser 33 is corrected based on the output of the temperature senser 32. Then, the supply control of the toner is carried out based on the output of the corrected toner concentration senser 33, and the second image quality adjustment is carried out based on the output of the corrected toner concentration senser 33. Thus, even the sensitivity of a photosensitive body and the output of the toner concentration detecting means is changed, the correct quality image is always obtained, and the image can be correctly adjusted when the toner concentration is decreased. |
