PURPOSE: To discharge polyester, triacetate, acetate or polyamide by using a new aminoreductone (its mineral acid salt) as a discharging agent for disperse dyes. CONSTITUTION: Textile materials are discharged by using as the discharging agent 3-aminoductone (its mineral acid salt) shown by the formula [where R<1> -R<3> are each H, methyl or ethyl; R<4> is 1-20C alkyl or alkenyl, which may be substituted by hydroxy, 1-3C alkoxy or acetoxy, or -(CH2 -CH2 -O)n H (where (n) is 1-10; this radical may be etherified with alkyl or esterified with acetyl), or is bonded to N-atom to form a 2-15C alpha- or beta-amino acid group, in which case the carboxyl group may be present in a neutralized form as an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonium salt, or in an esterified form as 1-10C alkyl ester].
