PURPOSE:To record pictures on ordinary papers by a simple process in which part of low-melting color solids formed on the periphery of a rotary drum is melted by heating according to picture signals and then adhered to a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Lasers 3 generated from a light source 6 is modulated by a light modulator 5 according to picture signal S and then scanned through a light polarizer 6 on a recording paper 2 running in close contact with low-melting color solids formed on the periphery of a rotary drum 1. Whereupon, the low- melting color solids are melted into a shape of pictures according to the picture signal S and adhered to the recording paper 2 for recording pictures. Then, the surface of the drum 1 is closely contacted with a hot roller 7 in such a way as to smoothen the uneveness of pictures formed on the surface of the low-melting color solids. |
