PURPOSE:To decrease the change in photographic characteristic and to enhance the finish quality of a color print by providing a silver halide emulsion layer having a specific compsn. to a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material is provided with the emulsion layer contg. silver chloride (bromide) which contains substantially no silver iodide, has >=20mol% silver chloride content, and contains the ions of any of group VII metal (e.g.; iridium) of the period table, group II transition metal, lead or thalium at >=10 per 1mol silver halide. This photosensitive material is subjected to scanning and exposing by using a light source combined with, for example, a semiconductor laser and a wavelength converting element in accordance with the picture signal obtd. by scanning of the original picture and is then subjected to a development processing, by which the color image is formed. The compd. of the formula shown on the right which can prevent the increase of the min. density by unequal scanning may be added into the above-mentioned emulsion layer. |
