PURPOSE:To detect exactly an abnormal state of a detector, by storing various spectrums containing the detector in advance in a storage device, in a diagnostic device of the detector used in a plant such as a power plant, etc. CONSTITUTION:An output noise 1 of a detector calculates various statistic quantities required for estimating a time constant of the detector, such as a power spectrum, a linear spectrum, etec., in a noise processor 2. A curve regulator 3 executes curve fitting to a spectrum part of a detector frequency area being an object, by the minimum square-law method. A time cnstant computer 4 calculates a step response, and calculates an overall detector time constant. A discriminator 7 uses a power spectrum and a linear spectrum of an optional characteristic, which are stored in storage devices 6, 8, compares them with the spectrum of the curve regulator 3, which has been received electrically, and the time constant estimated by the computer 4, selects the spectrum having the nearest relation to them, and estimates a response time constant. |
