The cuttings for parts of garments are extracted from a suspension conveyor installation automatically. The cutting is fixed in the extraction position so that fixed and movable jaws can grip and convey it to the next working station. Pref. cutting (6) is suspended by the carrier (2) from a monorail (20) on rollers (1). A revolving element (25) is turned around the axis (26), as a stop (23) and an electromagnet (24) on the mount (10) fix the carrier. A movable jaw (17) is moved down by an actuator (12) and closed by an actuator (4) towards the fixed jaw (18) to grip th cutting. USE/ADVANTAGE - This saves all manual labour and requires a min. of engineering effort.
