DECENTRALIZED PROCESS FILE CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To avoid the useless transfer of files by performing the comparison between the updated versions of the host and terminal sides of a processing file in case a changing request is received from the terminal side for said file and transferring the file only when no coincidence is obtained from said comparison. CONSTITUTION:When the terminals T1 and T2 produce the replacement requests of the processing files, an updated version comparison mans 13 set at the side of a host computer H1 compares the replacement version stored in a file control table 11 with the updated versions controlled by the updated version control means 21 and 31 set at the terminals T1 and T2. Then the corresponding processing files held by the computer H1 are transferred to the terminals T1 and T2 and the instructions are given to both terminals T1 and T2 to perform the change via said files as long as the updated version stored in the table 11 is new. In case the updated version of the table 11 is not new, the instructions are given to the terminals T1 and T2 to perform the change via the files held by both terminals. Thus the useless transfer of files can be avoided.
