<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the excessive part of a slender element from accumulating on the upstream side of an installation machine, by a method wherein a tension equal to or larger than a tension applied to the part of the slender element on the downstream side of the installation machine is applied to the slender element. CONSTITUTION: If an installation machine 1 advances, the front part 11 of a guide 10 lifts the part of a slender element 3 on the upstream side of the installation machine 1, a tension member 8 applies a tension to the slender element 3, a power shovel 6 digs a groove 7, and the slender element 3 is positioned in the groove 7 by the rear part of the guide 10. The tension member 8 applies a tension to the slender element 3 in a direction opposite to the advancing direction of the installation machine 1. Therefore, a tension which is equal to or larger than a tension applied to the part of the slender element 3 on the downstream side of the installation machine 1 is applied to the part of the slender element 3 on the upstream side of the installation machine 1. With this constitution, the excessive part of the slender element 3 is never accumulated on the upstream side of the installation machine 1.</p> |
