PURPOSE:To prevent troubles in refeeding sheet by providing a control means for controlling each rotary body pair driving means in such a way that after a sheet to be transferred to a middle sheet containing device is transferred by a first transfer rotary body pair to a second transfer rotary body pair in order, the sheet is put and held with its forward end deflected gradually from the lowest sheet to the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:A first transfer rotary body pair 16 is disposed in a middle sheet containing device 15, and a second transfer rotary body pair 30 is disposed on the downstream side of a sheet transfer direction of this containing device 15. Drive means 29, 30 for the transfer rotary body pairs 16, 30 are drive- controlled by a control means, a sheet S to be transferred to the middle sheet containing device 15 is transferred by the first transfer rotary pair 16 to the second transfer rotary pair 30 in order, then the sheet S is put by the second transfer rotary pair 30 with its forward end deflected for a predetermined distance to the downstream side from the lowest sheet, and the sheets are held with the sheet S on top deflected to be foremost. As a result, the deflection quantity at the forward end of the sheet S can be constant, and feeding two or more sheets together at the time of refeeding can be prevented. |
