PURPOSE:To accurately revive an image by using even a driving device with low mechanical accuracy by performing the correction of the position of scan based on the read result of an index by an image sensor. CONSTITUTION:The image sensor 11 reads an original plane with width larger than that of the image sensor 11 by changing a relative position with an original and scanning it for plural times. At this time, a position correction means 14 performs the correction of a scanning position based on the position information of the index read at the beginning or the end of every scan. The position correction means 14 consists of a pre-index position storage means 40, a post-index position storage means 41, a line drawins means 42, an omission means 43, and a correction means 44. |
