PURPOSE:To easily obtain the subject compound from easily available raw materials in high yield by using alkane or alkene such as trichloropropane as a raw material and fluorinating the material with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a specific fluorination catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound is produced by using a 3C alkane or alkene selected from trichloropropanes (e.g. 1,2,3-trichloropropane), dichloromonofluoropropanes (e.g. 1,1-dichloro-2-fluoropropane) and dihalogenopropenes (e.g. 2-fluoro-3-chloropropene) as starting raw material and fluorinating the raw material with hydrogen fluoride in liquid or gaseous phase at 50-550 deg.C in the presence of a fluorination catalyst consisting of a halide or oxide containing at least one kind of element selected from Al, Cr, Mg, Ca, Ba, Sr, Fe, Ni, etc. |
