<p>The lead in shapeless form is put on a press. The produced lead wire with internal core of nylon thread or high resistance polyester passes through a special machine and it is carved taking the shape of a string of beads. Subsequently, through special knitting machines it is enclosed (knitted) in a sheath made of synthetic thread, nylon, polyester or high resistance polypropylene. The sheath is of a single or double knit, according to the weight of the internal lead wire. The whole product is used for the nets to fall properly in the sea bed thus making fishing productive.</p> |
