PURPOSE:To form a high-density cyan image with high sensitivity by incorporating a specific phenolic cyan coupler into the above material. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material contains the phenolic cyan coupler having the group expressed by the formula I in the 2-position and the group expressed by the formula II in the 5-position. In the formula, Ra and Rb denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; Rc denotes a hydrogen group or substituent; Rd denotes a substituent; m denotes 1-5; n denotes 0-5; J denotes an oxygen atom or sulfur atom; respective Rc Rd may be the same as or different from each other when m and n are >=2; at least one Rc among m-pieces of Rc is an aryl sulfonyl amino group or aryl aminosulfonyl group; Rd is a halogen atom, alkyl sulfonyl, etc., when n is 1-5 and Rd exists in the p-position with respect to an ureide group.
