<p>An aluminium extrusion system, especially for making window frames consists of L- and double L-section profiles for the fixed frames and Z- and T-section profiles for the opening sections. Each frame is made from two connected sections (1,2) joined together by internal insulating bars, and both sections have hollow inner chambers (10,15). The inner chambers (15) of the sections forming the outside portions of the frame are shaped to receive connecting elements for the frame corners, and have a rectangular cross-section, e.g. of 9.5 x 12.5 mm.
