PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of initial values and various adjustment and to make maintenance operation easy by providing an indicating means which indicates the output of the initial set values, a converting means which converts the initial set values to the font pattern of a bar code read by a bar code reading means, and an image forming means. CONSTITUTION:This image recording device is equipped with the indicating means (c) which indicates the output of the initial set values, the converting means (d) which converts the initial set values stored in a storage means (b) to the font pattern of a bar code readable by a bar code reading means (a) according to the indication of the indicating means (c), and the image forming means (e) which forms and records an image of the bar code outputted by the converting means (d). For the purpose, the bar code reader is provided to input and set various initial set values, etc., with the bar code and the initial set values are outputted in the form of the bar code. Consequently, the setting of initial values and various adjustments are facilitated and the maintenance operation is made easy. |
