In a stored program controlled by telecommunication establishment, function blocks of the establishment are controlled in cooperation with a computer system including a number of processors. Determining the order in which the establishment control functions are preformed is included in the cooperative functions. One of the processors is separated for exclusively controlling an independent stored program controlled signal switching system which performs the cooperative functions by switching cooperative signals between the function blocks of the establishment and at least one central processor.
