PURPOSE: To maintain the flow rate of fluid sample to a testing unit uniform and to accurately analyze it by providing a flow control film in the opening formed at the bottom of a recess for filling the specimen. CONSTITUTION: An opening 14 is provided at the bottom 13 of a recess 10 provided with a flange 11 and a handle 20 at the top. A film of nylon 66 having a pore size of 3.0μm is mounted at the bottom 13 as a flow control film 30. This apparatus for supplying the fluid sample is inserted into the hole 47 of a cover 46 provided above a testing unit 40 having a porous support 41, a flow control layer 42, a spacer layer 43 and an absorption layer 44, and the sample and reagent are supplied in the recess 10. Thus, the sample and reagent are controlled at a desired flow rate by the film 30, and can be supplied to the unit 40. Interference substance from the sample can be removed by the film 30, and accurate analysis can be performed.
