PURPOSE:To execute the maximum limit effective use of printer resources by defining a system printer group at the time of preparing a system, controlling it with a printer device control mechanism and determining automatically the printer device of an output destination with the system. CONSTITUTION:When a printer identifier to display a system printer group is designated in a program, the attribute of the program is decided by a printer device control mechanism 10 and thus, an output printer device is determined. Consequently, by the attribute of the program, it is decided whether, first, the program is to be outputted to a non-KANJI (Chinese character) printer or the program is to be outputted to a KANJI printer and either of the non-KANJI printer or the KANJI printer is selected. Thus, when the classification of the printer is determined, next, the mechanism 10 checks the condition of respective printer devices and determines the printer device of the output destination. Thus, when the output printer device is determined by the mechanism 10, a printer output mechanism 20 outputs the printing data for the idle printer. |
