The invention relates to a device for three-dimensional measurement (tracing). It comprises a set of rods 1 which are articulated sequentially, one of the ends of the said set of rods being mounted on a base 3, and the other end being fitted with a measurement head 5, each articulation 2 comprising measurement means for determining the relative direction of the two rods adjacent to this articulation; and computation means 3 for computing the coordinates of the measurement head relative to the base from the indications supplied by the said measurement means. <IMAGE>
