PURPOSE:To make a supporting fitting unnecessary and reduce the number of constituting parts by a method wherein a drain water evaporating device is constituted of a band type evaporating member, consisting of a hydrophilic perforated plate bendable into a meandering shape and provided with a repulsive force against the bending, and a drain pan. CONSTITUTION:A cooling chamber 4 is defined by a waterproof heat insulating wall 17, whose upper surface is opened, and drain water from an evaporator 8 is discharged into a drain pan 13 from the bottom wall of the heat insulating wall 17 through a drain pipe 18 in a machine chamber 5. A band type evaporating member 20, constituting a drain water evaporating device together with the drain pan 13 and consisting of a hydrophilic perforated plate, is bendable so as to be expandable and having a repulsive force against the bending. The evaporating member 20 is bent by a plurality of times in a meandering shape so as to be capable of obtaining crest parts, trough parts and slanted parts and is arranged in the drain pan 13. |
