<p>PURPOSE:To suppress a patterning defect in a manufacture process and to obtain display performance as designed by interposing two-terminal nonlinear elements in respective intersection parts between connection lines of picture elements and signal lines, and connection lines and connection lines. CONSTITUTION:A picture element connection line 16, an upper connection line 17, and a picture element electrode 18 are formed by patterning after IT is adhered. The connection line 16 is connected to the electrode 18 at one end and crosses a lower connection line 13, further extends straight and crosses an element signal line 12 so that a pin diode 14 is sandwiched between the connection line 16 and element signal line 12. The lines 16 and 13 are connected to each other at their intersection part. Further, the intersection part of the lines 16 and 12 is the upper electrode of the diode 14. The line 17 crosses the line 12 at one end and also crosses the line 13 at the other end so that the pin diode 15 is sandwiched. The lines 17 and 12 are connected to each other at the intersection part.</p> |
