PURPOSE:To obtain stable and good conveyability of a toner by using a toner composition comprising a binder resin, a specified magnetic powder, and a specified fluidity controlling fine powder, and specifying the average particle size, the electric resistivity, and the powder compressibility of the particles of the toner composition. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner composition is composed of the toner particles comprising the binder resin, the magnetic powder composed of a fine acicular powder having a longer axis to shorter axis ratio of >=5, and the fluidity controlling fine powder having a diameter of <=1/10 that of the toner particle and added in an amount of 0.05-2.0wt.% of the total weight of the toner particles so as substantially not to change the resistivity of the toner particles. The toner particles are set to an average particle diameter of 5-25mum, a resistivity of >=10<8>OMEGA.cm, and a powder compressivibility of 25-38%, thus permitting the obtained toner particles to be conveyed well and stably, and to attain superior image transferability. |
