摘要 Each memory block has its own associated addressing device. Each such device, for each of four video channels, holds its own data set ready. The devices are freely programmable not only for the scan direction, i.e. backwards or forwards, but also for the format of images or part images. Through this, the line length is settable as an integer mutiple of the number of blocks, plus one, and the column length as a second integer multiple of the block number plus one. Thus images and part-images may be addressed at full speed in either direction. Each video channel is coupled via its own channel controller to all blocks. The controller places the data words read out in parallel from the blocks in series for transmission, and vice-versa. An internal FIFO is provided for time-decoupling of the storage access from access to the video bus. USE/ADVANTAGE - Image format to be stored freely selectable, matching requirements of image processor. Rapid storing and read-out for processing and coupling of images, e.g. t.v. or video camera images.
