<p>PURPOSE:To increase the degree of control setting freedom of a power assist for a bar handle having a small steering angle by permitting an actuator for the power assist to be variably controlled on the basis of the torsional phase difference generated on a steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a bar handle is turned right, an inner shaft 22 is twisted according to a steering force, an outer shaft 21 coupled with a steering shaft end 25 is first rotated clockwise by the torsional amount of said shaft 22 and a spool rod 34 integral with the outer shaft 21 is moved backward. A torsion is generated in the inner shaft 22 integral with the shaft end 25 to allow the inner shaft 22 to function as a torsion bar. Thus, a steering force corresponding to the torsion of the inner shaft 22 is transmitted to the shaft end 25 and an actuator body 30.</p> |
