PURPOSE:To accurately grasp the change between pictures by adjusting at least either the reading conditions or the image processing conditions of an image to be compared with a past image and obtaining a reproduced image having approximately the same sensitivity and gradation as those of the reproduced picture of the past image. CONSTITUTION:In an operation means 64, information about the gradation and sensitivity of a past image signal having the same ID information as ID information inputted from an ID information retrieving means 63 stored in an image signal storing means 65 together with an image signal is read based on the above-mentioned ID information inputted from the ID information retrieving means 63, and a reading condition signal S1 is outputted to a reading condition control means 66 based on the read information so that a final reproduced image can have approximately the same gradation and sensitivity as those of the reproduced image based on the image signal corresponding to the past same ID information, and further, image processing is executed for the read image signal in this operation means 64. Further, the operation means 64 outputs a image signal S2 to a reproduction control means 67 based on the image signal after the image processing. |
