In the case of a two-component spraying device having a pump arrangement comprising two pumps, driven by at least one air motor fed with compressed air, for the two spraying substance components to be fed under pressure to a spraying means, and having a shortage cutout for switching off the pump arrangement if a pressure drop occurs in one of the spraying substance lines leading from the pumps to the spraying means, the shortage cutout is composed of pneumatic valves and is fitted into the compressed-air feed line for the air motors. In this arrangement, the shortage cutout comprises a pneumatically actuable main valve, switching the flow through the compressed-air feed line, a pneumatic AND valve, the output of which controls the main valve, and two mechanically actuable pilot valves, the compressed-air outputs of which are connected to the two inputs of the AND valve. The two pilot valves are controlled by hydraulic/pneumatic pressure intensifiers.
