PURPOSE:To obtain a good picture quality by observing the same point by a time division plural times by a different frequency from the same direction. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 18 generates alternately at a prescribed interval a transmitting pulse signal of a different carrier frequency. The generated pulse signal is radiated through a circulator 2 and an antenna 1. A reflected signal is received by the antenna 1, and a received signal is inputted to a receiver 19 through the circulator 2, converted to a video signal, and thereafter, sent to a switching device 20. The switching device 20 inputs a video signal based on a difference of a carrier frequency of a transmitting pulse to signal processing devices 9-, respectively. In the signal processing device 9, a pulse compressing processing, a range gate processing, and an azimuth compressing processing are executed independently, respectively, and radar pictures obtained from each of them are averaged by an averaging device 21, and displayed by a display device 8. |
