摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To let relative intervals be maintained without restraining a laying article main body from being moved in the axial direction, and thereby prevent it from being damaged by using a spacer means composed of clamps held by the laying article main body and of a hinge mechanism connecting the clamps one another. CONSTITUTION:A spacer means 14 is formed with a clamp 18 composed of two pieces divided type half clamps 18A and 18B while being held by an under water laying article main body 16 in continuous length, pins 24A and 24B extending in a right angle from the half clamps 18A and 18B, and a hinge mechanism 20 pivotally supporting these pins which is composed of connecting strips 26A and 26B in a strip form common to the respective clamps arranged in parallel. Then, the clamp 18 is rotated within a plane wherein laying article main bodies 16 are lined up by means of the spacer means 14 which sets up relative intervals between the laying article main bodies 16. ln addition, the laying article 16 is so designed not to be subjected to violent load when a quadrangle formed by the laying article main bodies 16 and the spacer means 14 is deformed while a parallelogram is being maintained.</p>
