PURPOSE:To save consumed electricity by dynamically controlling by time division by dividing latch output of a latch means into more than two groups. CONSTITUTION:The device includes a time division signal generating circuit 14, consisting of a multiple number of LEDs (LED1-LEDn), which are lit to erase the charge from a non image range of a photosensitive drum, resistors R1-Rn, to be connected to the cathodes of LED1-LEDn, drivers 10a-10n, switching circuits (AND circuit) 11a-11n, latch circuits 12a-12n, shift resistors 13a-13n, and a ring counter. Then the latch output of the multiple number of latch circuits 12a-12n, provided to latch the erasing data, are divided into more than two groups to be dynamically controlled by time division. Thus savings can be made on DC current. |
