PURPOSE:To improve workability in assembly by engaging a seal formed of elastic material with an engaging groove and holding it therein condition where the one edge of the seal is folded down into two parts to attain a cross- sectionally V-shape. CONSTITUTION:The engaging groove 235 engaging and holding the seal 3 is provided longitudinally on an opening end surface 233 nearby the photosensitive drum 1 of an opening part 321 formed on a spiral holder 23. The groove 235 has an inlet 235b possessing a return abutting part 235, and the cross-section of the recess of the inlet 235b is V-shaped. The one edge 31 of the seal 3 is folded down into two parts to attain a cross-section in V-shape, is inserted into the engaging groove 235, engaged with the return abutting part 235a and held therein. On the other hand, the other edge 32 of the seal 3 is set so that its tip abuts on the outer periphery 1a of the drum 1. Thus, workability in assembly can be improved. |
