The machine includes a water level detector (3) utilizing a pressure sensor, a cloth volume detector (4) transmitting pulse signals according to the inertia of the washing tube which varies with the amount of clothes, a rinse state detector (6) for transmitting plulses according to the turbidity of water in the tube, a dehydration state detector (7) for transmitting signals according to the dehydration state, and a solenoid driver (9) for driving solenoids according to the signals of the detectors.
